So the University of Rochester runs an annual convention call SimCon for board and roleplaying games, and anime. That was this weekend, and during it the computer science students also put together a LAN party and starcraft tournament. I didn't play in the tournament, I haven't played SC in years, but I went and watched a few rounds which was fun. They had a starcraft 2 beta key up as the top prize! Also they had two beta counts playing head to head for people not in the tournament, so I got to play a few rounds of the starcraft 2 beta. The game is apparently a beta by blizzards standards, but by anyone else's it's exquisite. Anyone else excited for this game?
