Though the
doomsday seed bank might be the most famous (and useful example), there are plenty of
structures within the United States that are meant to last longer than some catastrophe and sometimes even help out the survivors.
In the spirit of the Fallout campaign, post any such structures that you are aware of. Maybe Nathan will have us stumble upon one.
Or maybe we should visit them as part of a real life campaign-- I mean road trip.
I'm up for it. I'd also be up for road trip visiting the weirdest ruins/abandoned structures we could find. That would be pretty cool, doing something like that motorcycle ride through Chernobyl. Though we're lacking in nuclear accident sites...
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm always up for a road trip! We could trek over to the Trinity test site in New Mexico. Or the decommissioned Hanford Site in Washington state. Or... drifting from the nuclear theme... the wreck of the Peter Iredale on the coasts of Oregon. Or any of a number of ghost towns.
