Stolen Descartes letter found
Back in the 1800s, some Italian mathematician stole a bunch of Descartes's letters from the Institut de France. So far, only 45 out of the 72 documents have resurfaced. Recently one of the letters was discovered in the special collections of a certain college in Pennsylvania, a place you may have heard of before...

Animal Research
So I work in a lab at the university, and while we don't work with animals there are other labs in the building that do. And one of them posted the following poster in the kitchen, which I thought was hilarious. It's the Advanced Animal Directive, like the advanced medical directive only a terrible idea.
